The Prothonatary Warblar, a bird of swamps and wet forests, is where you will usually find them. They breed mainly in the southeast and around Texas and Kansas. They are found in the eastern United States, midwest, Southernmost Canada, Cuba, southern Mexico, Northern most South America and a little bit of the Western United States around California. They nest in cavities in the United States and winter in Mexico, Cuban islands and Northern most South America. They eat Insects like ants, caterpillars, mayflies, beetles and snails and some spiders.
